Rogan knows what hes talking about he just gets overly excited sometimes which is also what lots of people like about him

The criticism that he says "its locked in" or whatever too much is stupid, its way better commentary to be like "Its locked in hes gonna tap!!! Oh my god he escaped!!!" instead of "It may or may not be locked in. Oh wait the fights over"

Reckon Cody/Cruz might be fight of the year so far?

It's so insane because even while he's getting clowned on, you can see Dom is just an incredible athlete with unimaginable speed, but Cody has just got Bullet Time activated for the whole fight, it's absurd.

Fight was fixed you can tell by how Cody keeps telling Cruz where to stand so he can drop him there

I forgot the series name (Inside the Octagon, maybe) but the show on YouTube where Hardy and Jon Gooden break down old footage and show how the fight will be won or lost for both fighters in a main/co-main is really good because Hardy explains and shows his points really well.

Rogan also said the angles they have to use are really lovely because they're looking up through the cage, into the lights, and having their vision blocked off by the corners. He said he misses a lot of stuff because of that and you sort of have to do your best.

Smaller cage, nutshots legal and count as significant strikes, the ring girls are replaced with show dogs with signs on their backs, everyone comes to the cage riding a horse, Greg Jackson banned from the sport, its illegal cut weight but steroids are legal. There I saved the sport.

Oh, Cyborg.

I believe Cyborg's defense was that she had to take time off to recover from her horribly grueling weight that almost literally kills her to cut to 140 in the Leslie Smith fight. Oh, and use drugs to recover, too.

I know weight cuts are terrible and all and I'm sure Cyborg's is as bad as most, but how likely is it that she really needed drugs and several months of recovery just from a rough weight cut?

I agree with this. I don't know when the meme became Rogan saying "it's locked in!" for a submission that wasn't. I thought in the past that joke was for Mir or someone else? Rogan does it here and there, but I don't think it's more than any other announcer.

I'll be sad when he goes. He has a very good mixture of knowledge and excitement that I don't think any of the other current guys do. I've been impressed with Cruz but I don't think he'll ever be as charismatic.

It probably takes more people to manage a show Dog (at least one but maybe more? Is the on site handler the trainer? Who grooms them?) than it takes to manage a hot girl (one girl).

It's not that uncommon for fighters to have a submission pretty much in but for it to slip because they're all sweaty and bloody. He might go nuts with excitement but I'll take his ability to look at a darce choke thats halfway there and say "he needs to get his elbow deeper under the chin and walk around toward the cage to lock it in" over 9/10 commentators out there who don't know poo poo about what they're watching other than it's a choke.

The times where his analysis is accurate far outweigh the times he's done the whole "IT'S LOCKED IN! oh... he let it go".

Sorry Keven but actually one or two people could handle all four or five dogs they would need.

You've just killed jobs, man.

Plus the USADA testers who test for PEDs - you killed their jobs as well.
