That being said a lot of people have fug feet. Plenty also have fug hands, I have veiny, tendony little old lady hands. We're just more used to seeing those so we're less repulsed by them

I thought it was just a really exaggerated palm ridge under the fingers.

edit: Or the base of the thumb on that hand, the rest of which is out of the picture, is raised and hiding part of the palm, but the artist was really bad at udnerstanding where the shadows needed to go to make it actually look like that
