The funniest thing about all these supposed Nick Saban write-ins is that the man’s a Democrat and would probably govern from somewhere far left of where these voters would like.

So you're saying he would win on the backs of minorities without doing anything to help their civic or financial situations? I am shocked.

From what I’ve been hearing he did a lot of local campaigning and GOTV stuff while not let letting himself get too overtly tied to the DNC.

You're shaped by the political climate that exists when you come of age. They came of age when Reagan and capitalism were doing amazing.

Yes. I really need to bookmark the poll I keep posting, hang on.

https://theintercept.com/2016/02/24/top-gop-pollster-young-americans-are-terrifyingly-liberal/

quote:

In response to the question, “Which type of political system do you think is the most compassionate?”, 58 percent said socialism and 9 percent said communism. Just 33 percent chose capitalism. Sixty-six percent of the poll’s respondents said corporate America “embodies everything that is wrong about America.”

I'm guessing they'll be a sliver of Republican Pepe Nazis and then another broad left-wing generation growing up now. I think Republicans screwed themselves out of a generation with Trump. They could've had a generation of right-libertarians.

This attitude is literally what's directly led to the death cult and orange pissgolem being able to take over the country and start wrecking poo poo, hth.

But if you're so privileged you think it's acceptable to have a bunch of protofascist madmen seizing power every eight years or so, I guess your take is sensible.
