They shoot feature films for a few hundred dollars, and they do it in a few weeks. They churn them out like comic books, so they're often highly topical. It's a really different and cool way of doing things. Feature films on a South Park cadence, awesome.

There's one dedicated to identifying movies based on faint memories which can be alarmingly quick and accurate, the movie posters thread is always a pretty solid read, and every month or so I'll get caught up with this little thread called "Shameless," in which posters work through their bucket lists of classic films that they haven't yet seen. I don't wade in any deeper than that, really.

We used to have a lot of porn threads in PYF and goons would post something like "Help me find the one with the redhead who had a mole on her butt" and before the post could even be finished someone said "Gotcha: It's flaming redheads volume 2, here's some tube links, this is the girls name, her bio and a PO box you can send her favorite candies too. It's pixie sticks by the way." You think it's alarming someone can remember a movie? Brother some of the vague porn descriptions given followed up by someone finding the exact video within 30 seconds? That poo poo was downright weird.

What he said wasn't that weird, dude. It was pointed out to him that these films are made in an absurdly short amount of time, and he was drawing comparison to an American thing with an insanely short turnaround time in production.

Quite true. SMG's initial posts on a subject are usually very insightful analysis, even though I usually disagree with his assessment of how these insights impact a film's quality.
