Software & other includes applecare sales last time I checked, and when I did check the margin on those applecare packages was 92%. So yeah that's a lot of loving money from unnecessary applecare.

it would be pretty interesting if apple, reaching for ways to invest some of the cash they have just become able to bring back to the us, decides that what they'll do is invest in echis life. a bold gamble, but one apple certainly can afford.
