I started watching it and I skipped just a little to get past the credits and getting on the stage process and he was going on about police shootings or whatever and I was like bro that's so tired I just want to laugh so I turned it off in the hope that if it was good I would hear that news from others but judging from this thread it appears that isn't the case so peace out peeps and thanks

I just watched this last night. He talks about cheating on his ex wife then he talks about being single and how young women like to gently caress. He still does that thing where he repeats a statement over and over while pacing. He’s definitely past his prime but better than a lot of other comedians. So that’s my two cents thank you.

No really bomb jokes, the whole thing is full of ‘clapter’, he gets some good lines in but I only laughed a handful of times. Expected a lot more. How the gently caress is Bo Burnham directing these million dollar specials, what makes everyone like him so much? He seems weird and insufferable

I only like sitcoms with a laugh track. Heavily scripted with a cue to know when I should laugh. Stand up comedy a bit too unpredictable for my tastes, I am a man of routine and order.

Not sure it's one thing, but comedy definitely seems harder to stay relevant in than other performing arts. And, since tastes can vary wildly and change quickly, I think some people react poorly to that. Stand up seems especially hard to keep up with and adapt to.
