Gallant's winning the Jack Adams given how the voting usually goes for that award (who exceeded expectations the most).

Also Engelland? Really?

Engelland is a Vegas resident and was really involved in the response from the team after the shooting. The award is for leadership on and off the ice.

Part 1 10:30pm, part 2 whenever Sharks/Vegas gets to 2nd intermission. Which is likely around 1am.

Giroux should have been the 3rd nominee, with Hall and Mackinnon, and McDavid and Kucherov are better MVP candidates than Kopitar too.

Like even if you don't think the award should be Art Ross 2.0 - Giroux and McDavid are easily more valuable to their franchises relatively speaking.

Like I said, the award shouldn't be Art Ross 2, but it is weird that only one top-5 scorer (Mackinnon, and he's 5th) is an MVP finalist.

And, I mean, it's going to be a hell of an argument that Hall provided substantially more defensive value than, say, Kucherov.

It's about the player that's the most valuable to their team. McDavid doesn't have a team.

I forget which of the lovely PK/PP Woodcroft was responsible for, I think the PK, but the Oilers continue to avoid firing people by just moving them to different positions.

Woodcroft was responsibe for the PP. Now he'll get to teach it in Bakersfield!

Also its probably Gulutzan and Yawney being hired which is fine I guess.
