I could never handle Rugrats because of the jumpy, squiggly Klasky Csupo animation style, but this is a really thoughtful take that makes me want to check it out. I never would have thought that it had such a deliberate mission. I did know a guy in college who had fragmented memories of having a Jewish grandfather which he figured out came from confused memories of watching Rugrats.

I mean I can see it, when I was a kid I thought Doug Walker was the peak of comedy. I'm not as pessimistic about the gen-z kids and there youtube's, most of them will probably develop taste out of sheer boredom. in 5 years Logan Paul will only be remembered with an equally nostalgic and ironic attachment.
