Oh, hey, a question I keep forgetting to ask: Is there any point to the 'baby' pokemon that got introduced later? Pichu, Cleffa, etc? I know in the main games they can different movesets than the normal form, but in this game, are they of any use other than free candy?

0/6 on my next batch of eggs but I stumbled across a Fire Chicken raid and I was looking at how pretty it is and all of a sudden 6 spoofers started a raid even though there was no one in sight and so now I have my own crispy chicken and first legendary birb

Finally got ghost pokemon #10 for the Mew quest. Spawned at my own house too thanks to the new gen 1 spawn event. 25 candies to go for evolving Magikarp and looks like I'll need to hit some Mewtwo raids for the 10 raids. Next month looking good.

My go-tcha occasionally stops spinning stops automatically. No idea why. Sometimes it seems to forget other settings too. I find that if I plug it back into the computer, use the iPhone app and turn off all the switches wait a sec then turn them back on, it starts behaving again.

For some reason the game still prioritizes Pokemon over stops even if you have no balls, it's pretty dumb and it effectively prevents you from collecting exactly what you need most at the time. I usually leave all auto catch and spin features on and only ever change the in-game setting for catching Pokemon. On when I want to harvest trash for dust, Off when I need it to grab balls for me.

So far in the regional hunt, I’ve gotten a Mr. Mime and four (!!!!) Kangas. I wouldn’t mind a farfetch’d or two since all the ones I caught from that mini event have garbage stats, but this is still good.

It works like this: "Catch pokemon" box is checked, the game recognizes the plus or gotcha. It alerts when there are Pokemon, does the little pink arrow and notification (ohhh) up top. Without that box checked, it will not look for pokemon. Same for stops and the stop checkbox. If you have either box checked, but the Gotcha is set to manual catch, it will alert you to one Pokemon or stop, but never spin or catch unless you tap the static button. Make sense?

Sometimes my gotcha will turn auto spin / catch off so I check it every so often. I also have the ranger version so it stays in my pocket so I wonder if it switches modes because it rubs on my pants
