Hell I always remember when Pillars of Eternity was coming out there were a lot of people upset that the sea faring trade empire of Valia was composed almost entirely of Ocean Folk, who are black people. And that is a complete fantasy setting. Just the idea that black people aren't automatically the lowest rung on the ladder of civilization upsets and unreasonable number of people.

I didn't visit the link before it got culled, but I was figuring that the complaint "the skins are made poorly" and "the hair being unrealistic" really meant "the skins are too dark" and "the hair is nappy not straight"

There's like two black people in the entire game (model wise) and both look very good for Egosoft model work. Considering all the white people look like they have some kind of radiation poisoning they've done fairly well.

The game came out 2 days ago, I legit think this guy picked a start that put him in the non human sections of space and landed at an alien dock. When landed at these docks the majority of the NPCs on board are the race of who owns that section, with the odd other races here and there. I think he landed in a paranid or teladi dock, saw that the only 2 humans on board were black, concluded that the game only made black people and started working on his crappy mod. Like land at an Argon dock and they're mostly white

I don't know that I'd believe it's even a reaction to the game itself instead of something he'd planned to do before release. If any amount of black people is too much, and with games tending to not exclusively have white characters these days, he could've targeted just about any new moddable game.
