Do iPhones still require you to have an iTunes account to install anything on the phone, and does the account still require adding a credit card in order to set it up in the first place? A few years ago my mom had me help her install some apps during a family emergency and there was no way to do so without paying an Apple tax just to set up the loving iTunes account. "Why yes, Apple, I would very much like to add a funding source to my phone account just to have the extravagant ability to install free apps."

I don’t know, I like the hardware inside the iPhones. Everything is fast as heck and even though this phone is almost 2 years old, there’s no Qualcomm gear that is any better yet. But I’m not gonna lie to you and try and tell you the designs on iPhones haven’t gotten worse since Steve died. The iPhone 6/7/8 feel like rear end to hold, and the only reason why my 10 is any improvement over the iPhone 5/SE is the upgraded guts and the OLED screen, which is nice regardless of the dumb notch. I understand why some people like the powerful customization and features of Android kit though. Unfortunately you also end up with a ton of dumb boomers and zoomers with RAM cleaners that actively spy on them while making their cheap Mediatek SoC’s overheat and poo poo. Then they complain as if it’s Android’s fault and not the fact that they bought their phone for $79 at Big Lots.

Also it's totally fine if your Moto X4 or whatever budget phone is more than quick enough for your needs and it's cool that a cheaper phone enough for your needs in browsing porn and Youtube videos, but I have a co-worker who returned his Moto X4 two days after picking it up and bought a Huawei phone with a faster processor because the lag in some webpage loads was noticeably annoying for him. Which is why stuff like "I bought a Samsung Jackhole S4 for $150 and it's so fast! Why would you ever spend $800 on a phone?" is goddamn dumb.

Yeah computers are loving dumb. Javascript, a language that has nothing to do with Java and was just cranked out in like 10 days by a guy to animate frivolous poo poo in the old Netscape browser has somehow come to be the development language of basically all modern network applications. It is such a terrible language that you don't even program in it directly anymore. You write in some derivative language bolted onto it meant to address the many terrible things about Javascript and then 'transpile' it over so your browser can run it. It's loving insane.
