I've looked at a ton of scale figures since I started collecting this year and she's my favorite by far. Sorry to hear you got burned with a fake, that really sucks.

Resurrecting this dead thread because I'm at an impasse. I don't collect too many figures, but whenever I take a trip to Japan, I like to get one nice scale figure from a franchise I connected with to bring home (along with whatever gifts or trinkets my friends ask for). Tomorrow is my last day, and I need to decide which of these two I should get: GoodSmile's new Lancer Artoria Pendragon figure.  Or Square-Enix's deluxe 2B flare figure  I think the Artoria looks neater, but I already have a few Fate figures and haven't found any other good scale Nier: Automata figures. Also, the Lancer box is loving ginormous. >_> Any goons happen to have either of them and could give a good rating on either?

Just a casual observer here, but even as much as I like 2B, that Artoria figure really takes the cake, and would do good as a standout piece in any figure collection.

I'm not the biggest fan of unnecessary cheesecake. But the stance and effects are baller looking. Her stage 2 with the tassels and cape would've been perfect. It might be worth it to find a FedEx, DHL, or other shipping place, and have it shipped back to yourself rather than try to take it on the plane. If they don't let you carry it on, and make you check it in, I doubt the baggage handlers will be kind to it.

I most recently got Kaguya, seen hanging out with her animal ear friends: And Waddle Dee to round out the Kirby gang:  But yeah it was a slow year and discretionary funds are limited. I did preorder this Shimarin though, it should come out around my birthday so I'll permit myself that.

I cancelled most of my preorders for last year due to financial uncertainty but I did get this Kotoko pop up parade partially see what the quality of them was like. My impression is that it's pretty good for the price although mine has a minor paint defect on the right hand and the base is kind of ugly.

I picked up some mystery nendos and they arrived today. I went to comment about it on the US GSC website and there's some funny drama. https://www.goodsmileus.com/product/mystery-nendoroid-3176 There was a simultaneous sale for mystery overwatch nendos but apparently the overwatch nendos were also included in the generic mystery box set and people are really mad because they thought their order would specifically exclude overwatch.
