You cannot. you can spend real money on gold bars. You can also find gold bars and pieces in the game doing missions. Gold bars are used in game to skip level requirements for clothing items mostly.

Its a % the house takes of the pot. Since your playing aginst ppl in poker instead of most gambling games at a casino where your playing against the house. The house takes a cut of the winnings for providing the game. Usually 5%. But there isn't a "house" cuz it's a loving video game so I'm just losing 5% of the winnings I get every hand because rockstar. Mucking is a term used in poker where in most cases if a winning hand is shown and I know I can't win I can not show my hand to my opponent. Money is easy as hell to get now. Took advantage of the way better character creator and made a character that didn't look like they had mumps, then just ran the new story stuff and got some maps in between and I must have made 2000+ dollars, and I'm already level 14 with most of my guns I had back, and a swag poncho and bolero hat. I just wish I could have ammo bandoliers now...

I never have my camp up and thus never get charged for upkeep. If I need a campfire I’ll use one in town or after I clear a gang hideout. I do pay upkeep on having three horses though, it’s like $2.50 every time it ticks. You can muck a hand in poker, but I’ve only see it happen once. It’ll actually say “mucked” in the lower left part of the screen for the person who did it.

I don’t think that’s true, actually; you get a good chunk of gold from the tutorial, though Also am I the only one who’s missing at least one mission from the story? I was stuck at 87% before the new content and had one that I’d only ever played through matchmaking

I might not have done it if I had more to lose than guns and two horses, but I was only like level 30 so it was an eh. Also you get up right now very fast with a new character: I'm level 14 and just started yesterday afternoon, and I haven't even played consecutively

Haven't tested it yet, but it sounds like the game not saving custom outfits might be due to a piece of clothing being from an outfit. Using a custom outfit with only purchased pieces should save it on logout.

They need to let you attack people's horses in defensive stance. Nothing like getting blown away coming out of a store and then watching them start unloading on your horse, only to catch up with them, kill them and you unable to touch their's. I guess 2.50 is the idiot tax you have to pay for using that worthless stance. Better yet, maybe they should have horses run away if their owners are killed near them. If there's a bear, cougar or snake within 200 miles of the loving things, they sure make it known. But an violent explosion of gunshots right next to it? Nah, nothing's wrong here.

Gotta say, my biggest annoyance has to be the disconnects. Just spent 45 minutes hunting, and got DCed. Now everything on my horse is gone. You'd think they'd have stable server connections by now.
