gently caress me, I am super hyped after that trailer jesus christ. And I want that stupid statue goddamnit.

The shots of specific locations really did it for me. The shots of the Shinra lobby, the motorcycle chase, the shots of the Air Buster. Wowee woowee. The character designs look great too.

All I need now is reassurance that the "omg save me" nonsense they showed with Aeris in this trailer is not the norm

Yes its episodic and yes its totally possible Midgar takes up that much room. Room means nothing about length, it could just be insanely high resolution textures with how good that video looked. But it also sounds like they're expanding the Midgar section with tons of new story.
