isn’t Texas currently somewhat hosed by their own “independent” grid now being a deregulated mess with higher costs woefully inadequate to handle the states’s actual electric needs and since they cut ties to other grids they can’t even offset it by buying power off state? I guess that’s pretty Texas after all.

It ruined people, over-drafted their accounts, no money to buy food, their electricity is not at risk of being shut off.
