God help you if you have to drive past Houston on 10. The San Jacinto Bridge is still partially closed, and will be until 2020 at the earliest. My folks live around Beaumont so I am not looking forward to the holidays. I guess I can take 90 but I've never done that so I dunno how it is

90 isn't bad. The interchange at Barret station is a bit weird but that's all.

610 -> 225 -> 146 isn't the worst either depending on the time of day, but that tail end of 146 generally has a lot of people wanting to do 40 in the 55 these days so traffic sometimes sucks. Also 225 is positively loving -infested- with cops.
