The only jon bois video i watched was the one where he details the bodybuilding forums guys arguing about how many days are in a week vs how many days you can work out. I was very disappointed the rest of his stuff is sports. i demand more forum.bodybuilding.com content!!!

Bois does a lot of non sports stuff in his Pretty Good series, but even as a non sports person, I find all of his content understandishable and extremely entertaining. Definitely watch the one about the marathon. 17776 was also great. Even the MMA doc he made with Felix was decent.

It gets close but they never explicitly get into spoilers. I'd still recommend seeing the movie first, if only because all the stories are much more entertaining if you can picture the people they're talking about.

Not only was it big in a critically acclaimed sense but if you went to see any non-children's movie in the second half of 2019 it was impossible to not at least see one trailer for it, it was both surprising it had that big of a marketing budget and annoying because that trailer gets old real fast on repeat viewings At one point I arrived at a movie theater early and not only did it play during the previews but it also played during the 'waiting for the previews commercials' phase When it finally came out I was relieved not only because it turned out to be great but because I wouldn't have to see the trailer again
