I'm contemplating thieving my fiance's Switch for 20 minutes every day so I can rewater my island's flowers with his character just to get the bare minimum of visitor bonus I think it's a really great way to encourage opening your town for random stuff. Back in New Leaf, getting hybrids was hard work. Here, it's a fun thing to do while checking out other people's towns.

Ghost and Celeste seem to be supplemental visitors. I've gotten them to show up when Leif and Sahara were visiting

I used to always want zucker but when I let him into my first island before the reset I was pretty let down by his house basically being a single stand with some random cotton candy in the back. I've seen him a few times on mystery islands and just ehh. Octavian is enouh for me. That said I just found Audie so I'm pretty goddamn happy right now

The only issue with adding more visitors is now there's a bigger pool for the game to pick from, and some like Redd take even longer to reappear.

How approachable is a Switch Lite + Animal Crossing for a non-gamer? I have a family member that is in her 60s, and I'd like to help her find some new entertainment. She has only played Stardew Valley (which she loves) and WoW on the PC. Do you think this could be a fun and accessible game for her?

I don't know about how accessible it is to old people in general, but there is one grandma who famously has clocked several thousand hours in the last AC game, and has a villager named after her in this one, so it's certainly not unheard of. If this family member has played Stardew and WoW they should be able to manage this no problem.

Like I said before, I'd kill for an option to pay nook miles to invite the npc I want for the next day (maybe with a cooldown) but I'm almost one month without CJ for now. Ghost has visited 2 times since i started in march. Celeste 2 times as well.
