I'm days late on this, but has anyone tried replacing the scratching material on one of these as compared to buying a new one? My current one is on its last legs and needs to be addressed but I don't want to throw out this entire huge thing.

Use a bit more hot glue than I did.

The AmazonBasics and SmartCat ones on Amazon have a little ball and I don't know if Leo or CJ will play with it, but even though it has holes drilled out for 4 screws, they only include 2  . There are also reports of the screw holes not lining up. And of course it's $10 more right now.Think I might get the Chewy one for now and pick up a second one from Amazon once the price comes down. e: Ordered the Chewy post along with some litter to barely hit the $49 free shipping mark.
