RIP the office. As far as I can tell from managers down to average joe workers still seem to think I'm coming in monday. To me the worst is when you have people that just say like kind of racist stuff, or stuff that's not overtly racist but just the result of not critically thinking about stuff. If they drop the N word or whatever, gently caress em, doesn't matter. But if it's just like, stuff that could be born from ignorance, but you have to deal with these people in a professional setting. It's tough to figure out whether it's decent people just saying ignorant or uncritical stuff, or whether it's someone just kinda showing their true colors a lil bit to see if you're empathetic to their lovely viewpoints.

I'm seeing videos on facebook and reddit where there are obvious agent provocateurs operating in the area. There's a video of a white guy all in black with his face concealed using a hammer to break every window in an Auto Zone while the black protesters are pleading with him to stop Link. I'm aware of protests gone past where cops have had to arrest agent provocateurs in crowds who turned out to be other cops (you could tell from the boots the poo poo stirrers were wearing) when the protesters around them wouldn't go along with their poo poo Link. I'm not saying none of the protesters are looting or burning but as other people have said there are people with different agendas doing some of the breaking and burning for ulterior motives.

When it's younger people I tend to think ignorance sometimes, but older people don't get a pass, especially when they make it a point to use the N word and emphasize it so you hear them clearly, like they want you to make no mistake that they don't like black people. I've run into that I don't know how many times.

Also it pisses me off how some people think just because they don't use the N word they're not racist, but it's cool to use slurs for Asian and Latino people.

The last adjustable wrench was made in Sweden in 2006, I think some of their saws are still made in Sweden but everything else since then is made elsewhere, a big part of the brand is made in China nowadays. Snap-On basically bought the brand and then proceeded to throw everything else in the trash. The quality is still good (mostly), but the profits per piece has to be through the roof.

The Sky was definitely the better looking of the two Solstice twins. If you look at cutaway diagrams of how those cars were built you can see they were basically mini Corvettes. Shame they weighed as much as they did, 2800 lbs give or take, and had absolutely no trunk space. I like the idea of the engine swap but here lately the idea of the LFX v6 with its 300+ hp and potentially lighter weight and smaller packaging in some dimensions seems more appealing to me, especially for smaller cars like the Saturn Sky.

Unfortunately my handful of contacts pared down to two that *could* get something but while I was hoping they'd expanded more into PO moves they have limited carriers for those type of moves so the average rate (changes with time of year) I'd look for is $1.65/mile for that move. Depending on how much your time is worth to you and how much you want to hands on the process you can likely save money booking something yourself through the websites you already mentioned.

I keep quiet about it most times but once you start to look into things, my god. Cops have no obligation to protect you Link, police departments purposely don't hire people that are too intelligent Link, etc etc. The guy who shot Daniel Shaver, not only did his AR-15 have a "You're hosed" engraved on it Link. But after all the outrage that happened and the department firing him they hired the cop back just long enough so he could get his pension Link. At that point you have to conclude its institutional.
