I dont want to undersell the difficulty of collective action, but gently caress yeah I sneer. teachers could literally collectively refuse to participate in these increasingly farcical solutions to coronavirus and then wed be off to the races in a way we havent seen since the uprisings.

Yeah, I get that's it's always easier to say when you aren't directly involved but that sounds like it would be a great time to strike. Also unionize if they aren't already.

Except the teacher's union here is a joke, and in many states even talking about organizing will get you fired and your teaching certification yanked. Her board is full of chuds who would like nothing more than firing a lot of teachers and starting with new, lower paid ones, and making drat sure they know why their positions opened up.
