He stayed in til really late in '16 because Clinton and him did indeed hate each other.

I actually had some certified mail (the kind they as you to sign and poo poo) get misdelivered to a neighbor, and my wife had a small package of masks from Disney which she ordered in like May just altogether not get delivered at the start of the month. I put in a request for the local post office to look into it. Neighbor dropped the mail in my box 2-3ish days later, and my wife's package was redelivered in about a week. Then I learned about all this fuckery and immediately regretted raising a flag about the deliveries. Just received a call from the post office branch asking about the issue and if it had been resolved, and I was (I hope) suitably mortified that I had caused them to devote time to my piddly-rear end problem when they are understaffed, underfunded and in a whole-rear end tumult ON TOP of working during the pandemic. The rep basically said " thanks, and I think if we can solve these small problems for people now, we can get folks to solve the other problems too". Which I really hope so, because the post has been rock solid during this whole pandemic and honestly just taken for granted as a whole. I'd like to think the Dem leadership would fix the insane prefunding poo poo and allow banking/other "it makes sense" poo poo to go forward but I have no faith in them.

My wife is a Green Card holder and we were able to do everything fine throughout the Obama admin. Then Trump came in and the change was visible. The immigration offices in Manhattan used to be poorly staffed during Obama's term, maybe 3-4 people in a row of 20 booths. but now they staff ONE person, and we've been turned away during the process because THEY can't find some paper work. Her case has been bouncing around between districts as they shuffle things around just to add complication. It's the same poo poo they're starting to do with USPS, just pulling the plug on a live patient while screaming "We can't save him!" Her Green Card renewal should've taken 90 days. It's been 32 months and counting. She could've been a citizen by now too so it's successfully suppressing her vote.
