Ha, I never noticed it but that Keith Lee debut outfit is basically what Karens wear to the tennis courts. That rocks. Keith Karen Lee in the house! Seriously, very tennis outfit-like. And full of body shaming for a beast of a man like Keith Lee, but hey, I guess it doesn’t matter. Maybe he has to pay his dues or some bogus poo poo and can’t say, “Guys, you all called me up. You all wanted me here. So, let me get this singlet out of here, wrestle in my gear, with my song, and let me show you why you spent the money on me (spoiler alert, to not go elsewhere)”. The very next week the cage was crushed by Drew McIntyre and nobody ever mentioned it again. It later turned out that Rowan wanted the reveal to be the smallest woman in the world. This is a couple pages back but Rowan revealing his original idea was even shittier is the best part of this story.

despite the situation with guys like Ricochet/Cedric/Mustafa Ali/Tozawa/etc, I gotta say: Aleister Black is absolutely the guy who has been wasted more shamefully than anyone else, when you consider how loving great he could be. Also really hated how even though he WON THE NXT TITLE, it was a verrrrrry short reign, rushed, and generally moved to finish up just so they could continue their stupid loving Gargano/Ciampa feud that had no payoff at the time.

Even though WWE continually fucks up every big/interesting signing, I really thought that somehow they wouldn't fumble Aleister Black. Great look, great wrestler, great theme, decent on the microphone, and has a grasp of how he wants to present himself. Yet here we are. Now that Brodie Lee's doing well in AEW and I've given up on Cesaro ever getting a serious run, Aleister Black has got to be the #1 guy they're wasting imo. I think he looks kinda cool with the eyepatch at least, so he's got that going for him I guess. You'd think in the midst of a pandemic and no live crowd that this would be the time to take a shot with someone new, but ah well

similar to Black, I hate how Andrade "100" Almas got the hot push in NXT and then cratered for the exact same reason: title run too short, rushed him out of NXT at his peak so they could focus on loving Gargano/Ciampa's endless storyline, and then dumped him into yet another tag team that consists of Two Random Guys We Gave Up On. Almas and Black were two guys I was insanely hype to see finally get to the top in NXT which made it all the more lovely that they were called up to main roster to wither. It really does seem like the only guys who will get regular pushes are Roman, Seth, Orton, and AJ Styles; anyone else isn't really guaranteed poo poo and can be relegated to a loop of listlessness instantly.
