Witcher 2 they outright ignored so them not being fans? Not a surprise and not really an issue.

I think that whether or not GiantBomb liked previous CDPR games, they have enough accumulated experience to know whether or not 'game work' and everyone can probably hold off on running to find excuses to dismiss their opinions out of hand.

I'm not sure how many rules are being imposed on the reviewers and how much this effects what they're actually allowed to talk about in these reviews, but I can confidently say I have never felt less informed by the reviews of a mainstream videogame ever.
