OK here's what I have for alnilam I was going to make a standard winter motif with scarves and snowmen, but wound up with him and the bb biking around in the snow. Let me know what you think al. This can be scaled/sped up/slowed down/scrapped. e: I'm going to need to keep that banner on screen a little while longer. I will make that update tomorrow because bedtime is now. e2: updated with new, awaiting enshrinkening

One little caveat - if the gif has any transparency then you are up a creek and have to work out how to make the gif smaller using only the skills god gave you. Webm files can't have transparency, unless i'm an idiot which is possible. This site is neat for many things other than making gif file sizes smaller. https://ezgif.com/optimize It can reverse a gif, combine a gif with another gif, add sparkles to your gif probably, all while working conveniently from your home. even a very small amount of "lossy" compression (not sure what that word means or what its doing, but it makes it grainier on a scale of 0-200) will shave a bit off a file size and allow it to be small enough for an avatar, etc. If you dial it way up it looks awful imo, unless that's what you are going for in which case I love you. I've used it many times to make a gif loop a little (reverse it, remove some of the duplicate end frames, etc)

The reason I swapped over to imgur was that for some reason the webm was not showing up for me at all and just now I found out that my script blocker has been blocking that website for years, but I made an exception for imgur equally years ago. So I thought imgur was working and that one was not, but as usual it was just me being really terrible at computers.  Fixed it now and it looks even better!
