Defeating the NRA does not equal doing away with the 2nd amendment. The president doesn't have that sort of power. The NRA however is the exact opposite of defending 2A. It just creates more and more reason why 2A should be abolished (something I fully support anyways). The NRA is massively corrupt and incites violence. They need to be reigned in and controlled, and I think if they do that, the gun rights debate will get a lot more level headed.
