He also got to meet Jimmy Savile. Apparently he was very friendly.

Lancia did some amazing stuff in the years that Audi struggled to beat them. They supposedly only built 250 of the requisite 500 type 037’s that were required for homologation. Officials counted them during the morning, then were treated to a long lunch with plenty of delicious wine, during which all the cars were moved to a different lot, then they subsequently were counted a second time.
