He's going to be very good you should know who he is.

Teams have been successful attacking the flats and using TEs against the Chiefs and Willie Gay Jr's speed and size would help with that a lot.

It's also what Tom Brady is good at.

I guess there's a difference between "Tua is verifiable trash and has no chance, get Watson into here" and "Why gamble on Tua's potential when we can get a proven quality passer in Watson?"

That’s what I thought my post implied. It seems silly to automatically assume everyone who wanted Tua traded was that type of person.

Willie Gay had 19 tackles, zero passes broken up and one sack.

He played more than a third of snaps in four games:
Darren Waller 7/7/88/1
Darren Waller 5/7/48/1
Albert Okwuegbunam 7/7/60
Hayden Hurst 5/6/47/1

He also hasn't played a single snap in the playoffs yet lol

He got hurt in week 17 before the practice injury this week, it's not like he's been a healthy scratch.

But yeah Willie Gay is more an idea Chiefs fans are in love with than an actual productive player so far. Woulda been nice to have him, but Eric Fisher is by leaps and bounds the biggest recent loss.

I'm not really sure what your point is pushing back on this. He's a talented player that has flashed and he had emergency knee surgery and I said gently caress. I thought he could be useful in the SB and also was worried about the injury.

:agreed: completely

Their backups are both done (McCarron free agent and McCown transitioning to coaching), their first draft pick is in the third round, and Fitz is the best QB in the FA market. Call their bluff and let them eat even more poo poo than they have in the last month (and last 365 days, :lmao: that things just keep getting worse for them)

What kind of party?

I'm planning on having a masked "gathering" outside with two non family members around a fire pit with a large outdoor screen. I feel like this is extremely low risk.

Either way it sure seems like both guys are people who aren't used to speaking publicly being put in situations where it's impossible to win by dumb general managers.

The worst part of this will be the first week after the texans score their first points and the announcers or talking heads trying to make it sound like the texans came back from extreme adversity, the new gm and coach had a rough start and its so impressive, then they lose anyways and none of them address how avoidable it all was
