There's still 20:46 left in this game and it's a one-goal deficit, but I'm having flashbacks to the late-2000s when playing the Preds was Abandon Hope All Ye Who Enter Here. It's channeling the that-era hate I have for that team and the irrational hate of that overrated-rear end town with its one gimmick it runs into the ground.

Chara has been decent and the difference with Schultz in and out of the lineup is noticeable. Sheary knows how to compliment super stars well and has fit right in filling in for what Panik was supposed to be.

He's got plenty of talent and speed but because he's not 6' 11" GMs and coaches assume he can't play anything but the most sheltered of minutes

I missed most all of the first but spreadsheet says the Penguins have been loving annihilated 5v5 with 8 shots against 1 shot for and out chanced 7-3 and 4-2 in high dangers. Bryan Rust has pulled Malkin way up but Letang/Pettersson is being wrecked and Sid/Guentzel/Kapenen have 5 shots against and no chances for. loving fire Sullivan jfc.

Well I only meant to say he's a powerplay specialist who was on a team with a lovely powerplay so his production dropped. He's already surpassed his PP point total from last year in less than half as many games this year. I guess part of it might be that the coaching staff just didn't see him as a fit for whatever the gently caress they are trying to make the powerplay be and his 20-30 even strength point production was less appealing for the price tag but even so, trading him for a flier on a left-handed dman when we have Dumoulin and Pettersson signed and POJ in the wings was baffling
