Now that you mention it, I DO stare at my right hand and left foot intently while changing gears, while drooling, and sometimes defecating myself slightly, so maybe you have a point.

To be fair, for the first twelve months or so it can be a bit overwhelming at times, having to handle everything manually while you're already in a stressful driving situation, such as busy highway or inner-city streets. You get used to it really quickly, though.
