I've sent a message to John lewis customer services but I don't hold out much hope from searching online Samsung have already said uneconomical to repair Its not unwatchable, its a inch across white glow at the top in the middle, something about a focussing lens falling off, annoying though

Argue that a TV should last for longer than 5 years, regardless of warranty, or else it isn't fit for purpose. Might work, might not. Has for me in the past.
