Thought I had earlier; change the Crassus Detonator to leave a normal crater but the bombs it throws out leave behind chunks of compressed gold instead. No more wasting 10+ minutes digging out the crater and still a hefty payday, albeit a potentially fixed one that doesn’t benefit from pots of good or gold rush (make gold rush double compressed golds?).

Digging out a Crassus crater is one of the few instances in gaming where I enjoy a mission taking longer than usual. Normally it’s because the whole squad is on the verge of wiping but keeps slipping away at the last moment only to lose before anyone gets to the pod.

For as little as it's worth, but $0.02 on the Scout is that, sure, his guns aren't some amazingly crazy gimmick thing that's flashy or has weird properties, but they don't really need to be. Scout's main thing, as was said earlier, is being super-mobile, getting the hard-to-reach stuff, and sniping priority targets to help his teammates not get overwhelmed. I don't care that the GK2 is "boring", I care that it's a laser pointer of death for ranged enemies. I don't care if the boomstick isn't some flashy thing, I care that it lets me get in a praet's face, pop it twice to stun it, then skirt around and finish it off with the GK2 and a power attack to the rear end. The scout's utility isn't in changing the terrain quickly like the driller; It's not in being an immovable object like the gunner; It's not area denial like the engineer. The scout's utility is in pressure relief. In that aspect, his guns work fine.

I just unlocked the Breach Cutter for the engineer, holy poo poo its my new favorite gun. What are the best mods for it? The stun and plasma trail both seem pretty great. Also the mod that makes the line spawn closer to you seems really good since you can just clear out waves that get close. Does it get better with overclocks? I just hit 25 on engineer and haven't done my promotion missions yet.

Not a complicated layout at all but none of the other dwarves seemed to know how to get started on the pipelines after the jacks were called. I had to get them all connected myself. Driller supremacy.

Nice! I really like the pipeline missions. They and the escort missions have the best sense of a developing arc to them. Salvage does a good job at it too, I just personally enjoy those less, Aquargs, Eggs, and Morkite are kind of the same as each other, and the same throughout. Also, anybody else utterly lose respect for people who can't position the pipes so that you can grind the entire length of them? I keep getting grouped with folks who curved them too close to the platform, or overlap them, and it's like they've pissed on my cake.

you're thinking of the propellant oc. they moved the nade launcher mods around so you get projectile speed for free when using nukes (alt is armor break or damage, which are pretty redundant with fat boy)

Elite Slashers are an actual death sentence if they can get in melee range. You will die before you can kill it solo on top of being unable to get away from it due to being chain stunned. Elites also are pretty much immune to thermal effects similar to Dreadnaughts as well, so you can't set them on fire at all. Haven't tried Cyro yet but I can't imagine it lasts very long and takes a lot of effort.

Those Bulldog buffs though, I've been running Elephant Rounds and now it's even more powerful, with 3 more bullets to boot! Not thrilled about the extra ammo OCs on the Warthog being reduced by 12 though (Mini Shells and Light-Weight Magazines both). Seems an odd choice, unless it's to compensate for the expanded ammo bags mod being used in conjunction, but don't know why they wouldn't reduce the mod instead.
