Y'all ever seen the hole weasels during breeding season? They do this thing where they arch their back real hard and then yell "HOOOOO-EEEEE" at the top of their lungs, then lunge forward and backward in an attempt to attract mates. |

I’m watching the new (2005) Ms. Marple and I can’t decide if I like it or not. It’s kind of campy and fun but I can’t get the old Ms. Marple (Joan hickson?) out of my mind and this actress just isn’t that. It seems like they’ve reused a lot of the houses and filming locations from the old series which is kind of neat.

This was going to be overly verbose but it was getting too much, so the short short version is: I'm blown away by the quality of Indian food you get from the posh waspy grocery store I discovered. I don't understand how that works, but it puts the stuff served up at restaurants in this city to shame. Toronto really isn't a foodie city though, so I guess maybe that's why nobody puts in the effort and its surprising when someone does and it's from an unexpected source. |

Raymond's is a Michelin starred restaurant, it's Jeremy Charles's thing and he does really interesting things to food. Also Francie in Brooklyn just got a star and I can personally vouch for some of the people making their food. I miss restaurants. Maybe in 2022. |
