Royal Blood - Boilermaker really has its hooks in me right now. I'm actually finding myself clicking my teeth to the rhythm of it and having to stop myself. I think there's just something about all of the main parts of the song that makes it easy to just kind of endlessly brain loop. Royal Blood pisses me off because I can't figure out how there's just 2 guys in the band and no guitarist, just a dude rocking the absolute poo poo out of a bass. I saw them open for QOTSA, they were really good. My favorite was when he introduced the rest of the band. "We're super stoked to be here tonight. I'm Mike. Over there on drums is Ben. That's it." (goes into next song).

I've been listening to a lot of RAGE lately, after forgetting that I bought a couple of their albums ages back. Kind of a bummer they weren't more popular really, since I quite enjoy basically everything I listen to, of theirs. Mostly I've been listening to Money, but some of their other songs (like American Radio Stations and No Prisoners) really get drilled into my head, too.

And lol....they've released SIX singles out of the eleven tracks. And I still think they missed the best two tracks on the album: Million and One & Mad Visions. Still Typhoons is not quite as good as their debut, self-titled album. Got to see these guys open for the Foo Fighters back in 2014. Incredible what they do as a two man band.
