play them in order. they're both great. there's a lot of lore from 1 that ends up in 2 and if you're going to go into one of them blind, it needs to be the first one.

yeah it feels like 2 mostly picks up where 1 left off as if it expects that you’ve played 1. both from a narrative and gameplay perspective within the first hour or two of playing i had several end-game items available to craft. like it’s saying ‘ok we made you jump through a lot of hoops to get this last time so let’s just cut to the chase’

2 has different mechanics, like there are places to get a little bit of air when you're in too deep for your normal O2. it also gives you some blueprints when you find some stuff, so you're not hunting all over the drat map for one stupid component to scan should start with 1 though
