A while back I read a Reddit thread in r/sysadmin where someone talked about sending cold-call salesmen to a special extension to play something godawful. Because I've been a goon for 19 years my mind obviously considered what the auditory equivalent of goatse would be. Well, it occurred to me that sometimes you can open files in programs not meant to open those file types and still get some kind of data. I looked up how to open an image in Audacity, did it, and it wasn't very satisfying. It was just a brief blast of noise, then nothing. However, enter Melobytes. I used the following tools to convert that AI-scaled gigapixel version of our oldest, dearest friend's organic aperture into something listenable. I left everything on defaults.
