Just lmao that all he can talk about in his historic postrace interview is how it's annoying to be physical in the sprint as a small guy without getting penalised

I posted my food for USPOL Thanksgiving!

Load of stuff about how he didn't just win sprints, he won TT's, X grand tours, mountain stages etc etc. He did start off by congratulating cav but it still looks a bit bitter.

I mean fair enough, but bike racing has changed a lot since he was riding.

Most people online seem to be pretty pleased for Cav but there is the occasional lovely comment, Sagan fans probably. Or people who don't get bike racing "can't win yellow though can he" or "all he does is just ride on other people's wheels".

That, to me, just sounds like he's bragging about how much doping he was doing.

See I don't think it stands out that much. Half of Cavs winning is down to his weird savant sprinting brain, and it's not like he doesn't have a lot of experience. I think the guys to proud to dope, personally. Well that and the fact a lot of the other big sprinters have dropped out, and that he's got an incredible lead out.

Had cav not had 5 years off his number would be massive by now.

Whilst not quite as bad as the nibali year it feels like everyone is a bit poo poo bar a few standout names

Bunch of binmen in the leadouts aside from DQS, and whilst Pogs is clearly on form everyone else is so far off their norm he looks like a superman

Yeah, for all the talk of doping, the only unusual thing really is one or two riders doing better in both sprint and mountain stages. I wonder if disruptions to training from covid just means the overall form is much lower and one or two standout riders look exceptional as a result
