The killshot will explode even if it's only the first or second, but I still need 3 locks on the target. ECR is still real good though. It complements Hyper Propellant perfectly.

I love it as cryo driller because you take 30% less damage to balance out the loss of shields, and combined with the tons of health I'm getting back with vampire, I'm basically more durable than usual. It's rough on higher hazards though because of the increased friendly fire damage and lower health after reviving; without shields, it just takes a couple of bullets to down a teammate who's just been revived.

can turrets do team dmg? i know the ocs on stubby that interact with turrets can but can the actual turret itself shoot my team. when i play eng i regularly stand in front of my turrets and i dont get hurt. but i swear i just got killed by one as scout. i was grappling out at low health and the only other person near me was the eng and he was firing the opposite way i was coming but i said the team dmg line and then died i landed near his turret and saw it was facing me.

I discovered a powerful trick to the caretaker that apparently isn't common knowledge: The appendages go down in a single power swing at least through haz 4...and they're vulnerable as they come out of their ports. If you stand near their spawn as they spawn, you can immediately remove them from the equation.

I joined a Haz3 escort this morning and the other players were all sub miner level 10. I spawned in to a bulk detonator being killed right next to Doretta. Then, during the Heartstone event, another bulk detonator spawned and, while I was kiting it away and just as it was about to die, a third one spawned. By that time two of the three other players were down and Doretta bit the dust before I could get back from killing the 2nd one. That was the worst rng I've had so far in this game. I hope DRG was paid up on our life insurance policies for that mission.

Oh yea, Christmas. Explains the surge in player counts. I fired up my random assignment mission (nothing fancy, haz4) and the time it took to walk back from the bar to the pod I had 3 greenbeards pop in. It's really fun/wholesome seeing people get excited for small things, I love playing with new players.
