I'm listening to the Modern Prometheus episode of OTTSS and someone needs to tie heavy weights around Branson's ankles or maybe chain him inside of burlap sack that he has to escape over the course of the episode, he's far too powerful and needs a handicap

And according to him Branson loves when that happens too. In the behind the scene chats he'll often bring up how he had an entire scenario written up for an area that the cast just decided not to go to or big plans for an NPC the cast either ignored or killed and how that happening forced him to have to immediately come up with something new on the spot and how much he enjoys doing that.

Branson Reese is an agent of chaos, he doesn't railroad he throws a grenade into a crowded room and is excited about whatever ends up happening including the grenade being thrown back at him and exploding in his face.

This is honestly my favorite part of DMing and Branson and Joe both do a good job of it. It's fun to listen to them work. .

New episode up. Taylor said in a tweet that he thinks it might be funniest yet, and I think in a Rude Talks they said it would be yet another unusually formatted one!

I'm waiting until work to listen to it, the rudest possible time.

I decided to give OTTSOS another shot so I listened to the modern Prometheus ep and god drat it I'm hooked again

I listened to the memory loss one after and got bored and gave up then listened to the professional children one and god fuckin drat it just about killed me

I'm back in baby!! They got me!! The opposing luck mages who get tied to opposite ends of the ship is the funniest possible concept and the whole hidden identity farce getting resolved by Taylor deciding to just loving run away before realizing he left "like two gallons of DNA inside that guy" is the perfect punchline!!!

I'm wondering if Branson, in his inspired madness, picked up on some cast cues and decided spur of the moment that the captain would be suicidal just so he would show up in Hell to bug Cord and Stirf.

It's always a great episode when Branson creates a character that makes him laugh at his own jokes non-stop.

I believe several of them have day jobs, and OTTSOS isn't their big podcast. I just always figured it was who had time in their schedules to do an episode or two. I thought that's why they did it like old Star Trek episodes, someone could drop off one week and come back the next and not mess everything up.

More Ali and more Carly would be great, they play off each other really well but the episodes are always good.
