i am here to tell you the target store brand "market pantry" coffee filters are rubbish, i bought a box and the first three all had the bottom let go as soon as i poured the water in. into the trash they go, and i'll go back to my usual grocery store brand.

made a big batch of cold brew yesterday with some cinnamon and powdered chiles like a cold cafe de olla with some chipotle notes and spice it’s not quite as good as previous batches but it’s perfectly drinkable. I think I’m using too big a grind for the coffee itself, it seems like it held on to more of the water than normal and had a smaller yield anyway, it’s coffee and it’s good and I like it. yay coffee
