Ska is, in fact, really bad. It's what the kids who are determined to be different listen to. And maybe some overlap with "band" geeks, I'm not American so I don't know how that weird horn fetishism works.

Got nothing about Bush but Vandals have done two troops tours in Iraq and Afghanistan and also played fundraisers for the Young Republicans early on. One of them is a network exec at CBS which used to fund the band, so they're not exactly touring sofas in punk houses.
