hard agree I bought a brother 2270 or 2207 or whatever used from some sketchy dude on Facebook marketplace over a year ago. my cats sleep on it and fill it with their hair and that thing just keeps rocking, haven’t even had to change the used toner that came with it.

but then you have to buy a raspberry pi. and that's either gonna be expensive, or you're gonna be waiting. might as well just buy the printer that doesn't require janitoring. my brother printer has airprint, but it's a flatbed scanner+fax+printer deal so idk if the printer-only versions do too
