They had a driving school in GTA San Andreas, why not have one in GTAO? There's already a flight school. Anyother idea: For racing playlists it would be nice if there were different methods of organizing the starting grid other than randomly. Either organize it by the last race's results, or by total points earned so far in the playlist. Or do reverse sorting so the losers get a little help.

You can't really make it so they are automatically dropped out of passive when getting an objective because then passive players could still automatically get crates for free since they would be intangible until the moment they got what they wanted. EDIT: Another change I want to see is for them to stop loving making other players dots vanish off the map when I am in a one on one deathmatch with someone. I get killed by idiots that I can't physically see coming for no good reason and it's annoying. I'm happy to kill all of them, just show me their dots. Wait, so passive players would get killed while not being able to defend themselves for the 10 seconds it takes to turn it off? That's worse than how it works now. I would just make it so that being passive meant you couldn't do poo poo other than mod your car and character, or shop at stores. Passive mode is basically "I don't want to get hosed with while I try to do normal poo poo" mode, and it should reflect that. Passive mode should pretty much make you unable to do anything that doesn't involve a menu.

A year and a half into GTA:O and the passive system still doesn't work, and never has. The passive player showing a solid dot is one of the most puzzling problems to me - why make it so the dot shows a different style at all if you don't care to fix it?

Yes, exactly. It needs to be worse than it is now because a passive player just follows you until you are in an active conflict with someone else then turns of passive and blasts you. Passive mode can be used straight offensively this way and it is. When shutting off passive mode just find a little quiet space and shut it off, that's not exactly a burden.

Also useful for jet races when the checkpoints get all weird. I say this as someone who spent the first couple months of this game locked in 1st person for the hell of it. Also if you're still doing poo poo like an hour or two after that event's start I'll probably join you and whoever else.

You know.. a group of goons and I were playing random races a couple nights ago and some loving idiot (probably me) thought it would be fun to do "Thrill In The Hill" in forced 1st-person. ..most people didn't finish. Those that did finish bitched like they just got done with one of my races. (Except they didn't poo poo-post about it.) In other words, this sounds horrifying to me and I'm glad I'm busy until 9. But for those that contribute.. I wish you a swift and painless death. Now, back to important features that need implemented.... I think we're all missing the most important missing features; regular vehicle maintenance. I should have to regularly fuel up. If I run out of gas, I can't just call a new PV. I have to have call triple a to bring me fuel. Engine'a gotta stay lubed or its gonna run hot. Better not neglect my oil changes every in-game month! Uh oh--I've been burning these tires pretty heavily lately and it shows. They're practically bald! Time to order new tires at 50,000 since they're bullet-proof. And wouldn't you know it? Braking has really work out the pads and rotors. Guess I gotta replace them, too. Uh oh! I've been redlining the engine so much--and neglecting the required oil changes--that I finally cracked the block! Time to replace the whole thing for a paltry 100k since its a super car! I reiterate again; give me more ways to murder and torment. I'll play to earn re money to buy these things. And outside of those things, just fix what's broken like people are already talking about.
