Everyone else was told immediately when they PMed me it was a joke. I wonder why.

It was closed because it got really bad. But it was pretty clear I was joking when I said it wouldn't be open again. I even told MrAristocrates last night he could open it when he woke up.

I'm going to be honest, I was lukewarm on Book 3 overall, but the finale was great in all the ways the last two weren't. That epilogue was the single funniest thing I've seen on tv this year.

Serenity actually makes me ok with how short Firefly's run as a series was because of how atrociously loving terrible it was.

It'd be great it more shows died before they had the chance to become awful. Firefly is just the most extreme example.

I would argue it was definitely better than the first season of Avatar and on par with season 3. Shame that even though the show got legit good that the thread found ways to go horribly horribly wrong.
