I'm posting from a phone so hopefully that works. If not I imagine the thread will be on the first page of their forums.

Then finally I am happy to let you know that our Beta submission was approved yesterday, so we are now officially in Beta. I can't give you any release dates yet, but this is one of the last big steps to nailing one down and saying that the project is on course.

IT'S HAPPENING

I wonder how EU4 plays for someone with color blindness. Quite a few mapmodes have green-to-yellow-to-red color scales which wouldn't be fun to play with, I don't think?

I would guess that there's a map mod out there to fix that.

That's a hella bummer, since Para has confirmed that HOI4 is going to have Linux support (which HOI3 didn't)

So, I have all EU4 DLC except for El Dorado, Common Sense, The Cossacks, and Mare Nostrum. Which of these, if any, are essential? I don't really feel like dropping $65 on DLC right now :negative: (well obviously I could wait on sales)

Not a WW2 scholar but I'd expect most arms factories were ready to destroy their tooling at a moments notice once enemy forces were within striking distance. So it would make sense you get the infrastructure, but wouldn't come with the ability to make whatever they were making.

Or if the factory's army will fight to the death in order to keep the factory in friendly hands, producing important goods.

So wait, are the tank packs additional in-game units that actually have an effect on play, or just pretty looking sprites like the CK2 and EU4 content packs?

Or has that already happened, I've been out of the EUIV loop for a while.

Honestly I hope they simplify the economy HOI4 style for Vicky 3 because I've played a lot of Vicky 2 and that poo poo still confuses the hell out of me. Not in that I don't understand it, it's just a lot of work to keep up with it when you've got so many other things going on.

I've played like 20 hours of Vicky 2 and I have no idea how the economy works

I think that's what I don't like about V2 - there's a lot of just... watching things happen, and having marginal control over them.
