I hope Alec Meer stays far away from Star Citizen, he shouldn't be using facts this way as it's going to give potential new backers 2nd thoughts. That's not good as CIG won't get more money.

I love how the SC reddit tries to explain away anything negative. "It's still pre-alpha!" "It's a feature!" "<External Studio> dropped the ball!" "Just some bugs, they'll be fixed soon" And then there's the posts asking CIG to add even more things to their boulevard of broken dreams.

Personally, I thank Derek Smart. He's really been pushing hard to promote Star Citizen this year and I think he's really brought the project to a lot of new backers. We should congratulate him on his hard work paying off in spades!
