tried my brother-in-laws AeroPress this weekend. that thing is sweet as hell, most likely gonna order one.
seems like less of a cleaning hassle than a french press too

aeropresses are great and immersion brewing is the best thing next to espresso and skillful pour-over with good beans

and if you travel the drat thing is neigh indestructible and makes better coffee than you'll find pretty much anywhere outside your home

that's a great idea for when I start traveling for work again*. hotel coffee is often pretty miserable.

the absolute best thing about the aeropress (to me) is that it magically removes almost all acidity from coffee.

now mostly using fully automatic machine I have to pay a lot more for beans because throwing any old lavazza at it results in an acid bath for my tongue. whereas the only problem with poo poo beans in aeropress was messy foaming after pouring.

What price range are you looking for? The timemore c2 is about $20 more than the skerton and will give you a far better grind quality. If you want an electric one I don't think you'll get better than the baratza encore.

the skerton is loving trash so being better than it is a pretty poor baseline

just get the porlex that fits inside the aeropress and is the perfect camping coffee grinder

AnimeIsTrash

The C2 is miles better than either of those 2 grinders. It has the same burr as the C1, which is a grinder that competes with the top end hand grinders e.g. kinu, lido, and the comandante. The reason it's significantly cheaper is they are using more plastic parts.

just splurge on the encore. if you drink more than a cup a day it will pay for itself in a week. hand grinding is annoying.
