I work in an rooty tooty roomy worky with around 20 flesh cunninghams and we all use the same rooty tooty coldy keepy.

(It’s a slow day at work. Five of us are sitting by the back stairwell, just talking and killing time. One of the managers joins us, right as a coworker pulls her phone out. Management has stated that if you have your phone out, they’ll take it for the day and write you up.)

Me: “Hey, [Manager], [Coworker] has her phone out!”

Manager: *looks over at my coworker* “So she does.”

Me: “Aren’t you supposed to take it?”

Manager: *shrugs* “It’s not like we have anything else to do.”

(Half of us pulled our phones out. I ended up going home early.)

My Astronomy teacher was almost always in a good mood, but that's probably because he's a mega nerd who finds teaching about science to be incredibly fun. He would always get really giddy when talking about his personal projects. Like once he hooked up an electronically controlled telescope to a laptop and rigged up a PS2 controller to remotely turn it, and used this ghetto setup to take photographs (through screenshots on the laptop) of the ISS as it passed overhead.
