You bet your rear end you do! Sock hops, cruising the strip, duck's-rear end hairdos, the Fonz, Little Ronnie Howard and making out at lover's lane. Drive-thrus and double-features and the spectacular economic post-war boom that caused so many of your great grandparents to gently caress like rabbits and have a bunch of kids that grew up to devour the economy like locusts. Segregation and the Civil Rights movement and Disneyland and malt shops and Howdy Doody. But most importantly of all, rock and roll music and the likes of Chuck Berry, Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash and, of course, Jerry Lee Lewis. Elvis before there was Elvis, he was so popular and beloved that he could get away with anything short of loving and marrying his 13-year-old cousin. And it's that energetic and exciting time that Vince McMahon wants to bring to mind with this PPV, sans the 13-year-old cousin loving despite Jerry Lawler's greatest hopes. It's a pretty good card too, most of the matches look pretty fun and with potential to be good: when the worst probable match on the card features Seth Rollins, that's kinda impressive.  1950s pros: - Brock Lesnar has a 1950s hairdo - Whole lotta suplexing going on - Joe looks kinda like one of the T-Birds - Universal Championship sounds like something from a cheap sci-fi film 1950s cons: - Joe would have to find a different water fountain to drink from in the building - Steroid technology crude and inefficient, likely to turn Brock into some kind of radioactive monster  1950s pros: - Roman is handsomer than Montgomery Clift, James Dean and Marlon Brando put together /Vince - Braun Strowman is literally a b-movie monster come to life. - Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman are both fantastic 1950s actor names 1950s cons: - Seth and Roman have long hair like some kind of beatniks  - Bray Wyatt doesn't care about money, making him a commie  - Sasha Banks' calls herself the Boss, but she's a woman   1950s pros: - Enzo and Cass look like they'd be pretty good at stickball - Sheamus is a good Irish name 1950s cons: - What the heck happened to Frank and Joe Hardy!?! - One or more of these men might be reefer addicts - Cesaro is not a good Irish name  1950s pros: - A good clean-cut fellow like Mike Mizanin can be trusted to uphold American values - Neville looks exactly like an English person should 1950s cons: - Maryse is French - Japan caused Peal Harbor - Dean Ambrose looks like the kind of guy who might marry his 13-year-old cousin Jerusalem fucked around with this message at 14:54 on Jul 9, 2017 |

Despite all of WWE's creative problems, I'm kind of impressed that they have enough storylines going on on Raw that two feuds (Goldust/Truth and Finn/Samson) are cut from their PPV.
