It's almost 17 years of ready-to-air material (most of the music was done in-house) with 10 of those years being in HD

The Rise and Fall of TNA documentary on the network would be awesome, come on now

If you're gonna do it, do it with ~*~Axefaire~*~

the 'rise' and fall of TNA would literally just be a horizontal line with a 90 degree angle 6 days into it

that's implying there was a rise

Yeah WWE's gonna get it eventually but they've got no reason to rush on it and even less to pay TNA whatever price they're asking.

E: Hell, if yall need a "rise and fall and fall and fall and fall and fall of TNA", this has been online for a couple years now and hits most of the main points

The Monumental Podcast also did a pretty good run of episodes detailing why TNA was always destined to fail.

The short answer is everyone that's ever run TNA was an extra special level of batshit that few can aspire to. Now whether TNA did that to them or they came that way is a lot more complicated.

I mean even if TNA was run by geniuses it was doomed to fail because it was trying to be a WCW in a market that could no longer sustain a WCW

A small, regional Southeastern promotion may have been able to be successful after WCW died, since so many of their fans didn't go to WWE after the buyout, but TNA didn't really give people what they wanted.

Well sure, but that was never their goal

They labored their entire life under the delusion the 21st century needed two national wrestling promotions

Wrestling can support multiple national promotions if they differentiate themselves. TNA's problem was as soon as they hit a stride that put them apart from WWE they immediately started doing WWE stuff.

Child of the revolution.

My Mom introduced me to wrestling some 30-odd years ago and since she and her husband live in Nevada now, the Las Vegas tapings were the first live wrestling event we were able to attend together. She's not the biggest fan of women's wrestling, but she liked Tessa a lot and oooh'ed and ahhh'ed at Thicc Mama Pump matches. Straight up fell in love with Rich Swann (to the point of getting a selfie with 'em after the first night) and to his credit he recognized her during his entrances and went out of his way to give her a fist bump. Became a huuuge fan of Lucha Bros (who isn't?). Overall she enjoyed the hell out of those 3 days.

The VIP experience on my part was also flawless - the Anthem reps kept us entertained and informed of all happenings - meets and greets were quick but all of the wrestlers seemed to enjoy themselves and didn't mind short chats and weird photo requests (especially oVe); Pentagon Jr slayed everyone in bowling on the second day. Discounts for VIPs at the merch table was a cool thing, too.

All in all a fun time was had.

Josh Mathews still a bitch, tho.

That was the overall VIP response made to the reps after bowling. Our group walking through the casino floor was a sight to behold on that day - you had the reps wearing rabbit and moose onesies (they lost a bet), LAX (w/ Konnan) and the Lucha Bros (both in masks) plus the wide gamut of the wrestling fan in tow. It was loving great.
